About This Spot

Stepping into Red Lion Corner Café feels like slipping into a familiar neighborhood nook where the clock slows just enough for the comfort of a home-cooked meal and easy conversation. The atmosphere carries a quiet, unpretentious warmth, marked by the gentle hum of diners sharing stories and the steady cadence of kindly servers making sure everyone feels seen. It’s the kind of place where families gather to savor simple pleasures without fuss, and where the mood is more about relaxed enjoyment than rushing through a meal.

The pace here suits those who are in no particular hurry—a welcoming refuge for anyone craving honest, straightforward food that fills both belly and soul. Whether it’s a cozy breakfast plate layered with fluffy eggs, crisp bacon, and fluffy French toast or a hearty summer salad dressed in fresh strawberry vinaigrette, the menu flows like a collection of familiar favorites, each carrying the warmth of a recipe passed down with a modern, welcoming touch. Comfort extends beyond the food, visible in the portions that feel generous and in the kindness that infuses the service.

Red Lion Corner Café is not polished in the glossy or pretentious way. Instead, it thrives on genuine moments—families sharing a laugh over a big platter, someone savoring a slice of classic carrot cake at the counter, or friends catching up over an afternoon coffee amid casual clinks of cutlery and soft background chatter. The surroundings may have the occasional quirks of a lived-in space, but that only adds to the authenticity of this community fixture.

For those who appreciate places that blend dependable comfort with a touch of local character, this corner café offers a quietly satisfying experience. It’s where good food meets friendly faces, and where a meal becomes a small, joyful pause in the rhythm of the day.

Good food if you're interested in a family restaurant/diner style meal. The wait staff is great. The televisions seem to only be running ads. I think the restaurant subscribes to a service that pays them to just show us commercials. I don't care for that. The claw machine has weird toys.

Very quiet. Good food. Drinks come quickly. Prices are more than reasonable. Looks very clean. Service was great after it commenced. Not sure what the hold up was. There were only 4 groups in the restaurant and it took maybe 10 to 20 minutes after we were seated for the server. Great if you have no place to be; we didn't, but might be a problem if we were in a rush.

A great place for nicely priced meals for dinner when you want a nice home cooked meal but don't want to cook yourself. Every meal has been delicious and very filling. Breakfast is very good and quickly served. All employees are very kind and courteous. Never had an issue here. Highly recommended.

I'm not a person who does Google Reviews, but wanted to shout out this small community business. There aren't many places you can get a good breakfast for under $10 anymore. The food and portions were great for the price. The service was good. The atmosphere was "family restaurant-ish." (what I expected) My only suggestion, and I'm not sure how to remedy it, was that it smelled a little "stale" when you went in, not sure if a deep cleaning would remedy or not. But I will definitely return for breakfast.

Title: Cozy Breakfast Spot in Red Lion, PA: Red Lion Corner Cafe Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ As someone who typically reviews restaurants in the DMV region, I recently had the opportunity to visit Red Lion, PA and stumbled upon the delightful Red Lion Corner Cafe for breakfast. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, although there were a few areas that could be improved. Let me break it down for you. The food was decent, and I decided to try their cheese, eggs & veggie sandwich. While the flavors were good and the ingredients fresh, I felt that the portion size could have been more generous. It was tasty but lacked that extra wow factor I was hoping for. The service and staff, on the other hand, were exemplary. The team at Red Lion Corner Cafe was friendly, professional, and attentive. They made sure to create a welcoming atmosphere and catered to customers' needs. From the moment I entered until I left, their service remained consistently top-notch. The ambiance of the cafe was cozy and inviting. The interior had a charming rustic touch, with warm lighting and comfortable seating. It was a relaxing environment, perfect for a leisurely breakfast or catching up with friends. I appreciated the cleanliness of the restaurant, which added to the positive experience. To sum it up, Red Lion Corner Cafe is a cozy breakfast spot in Red Lion, PA. While the cheese, eggs & veggie sandwich could be improved in terms of portion size and taste, the friendly staff and welcoming ambiance make it worth a visit. Whether you're a local or passing through town, consider stopping by for a satisfying breakfast experience. Note: Rating of 4 stars (⭐⭐⭐⭐) was given based on the overall positive experience, with room for improvement in the food department.

I had no Expectations of eating at corner cafe in red lion for breakfast. I chose for breakfast 2 pieces of French toast 2 eggs and 2 sausage links and decaf coffee. All were very reasonably price for under $11.00. Food was delicious. Our waitress was very attentive ( I forgot to ask For her name) for future. My only complaint was the cap On the syrup container easily comes off when using. So be careful. I would definitely highly recommend breakfast at the corner cafe on Lombard road in red lion. My experience was on a Saturday morning around nine am. Dinner review since I had a delicious breakfast I had high expectations of the cafe for a late lunch or early dinner. I read online menu a classic Rueben for 9.95. When I went to order the waiter said they don’t have the rueben. I should of left than as I was hungry for a good rueben. But to not be rude and walk out. I chose to order another dish. I chose baby roast beef with stuffing platter and 2 sides. My choice of platter didn’t meet my high expectations like I have for their breakfasts. The stuffing tasted like heavy buttered toasted bread. Gravy very salty. Beef while thinly sliced very tough to cut even with a steak knife. Creamy Cole slaw delicious and pickled egg and beet’s delicious. Now I understand why the parking lot was practically empty when I pulled up. But when I drive past the front the sign read open. Will I return to the cafe? Yes but only for their delicious breakfasts. And I will drive by for an early dinner or late lunch. Next time I want a rueben I will drive to memory lane or Hellamshire.

The hubs and I enjoyed breakfast for the first time here and absolutely loved our server, Donna. She provided excellent service with the perfect amount of sass. Stuffed French toast that melts in your mouth and so many other yummy options. Definitely coming back.
